The ingredients needed to cook Sabut Masoor Daal:

  1. You need 1 cup of black masoor daal.
  2. Use 1/2 cup of tur daal.
  3. Provide 1 big of chopped onion.
  4. You need 1 of tomato.
  5. You need 2-3 of green chillies.
  6. You need to taste of Salt.
  7. Take 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  8. Take 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  9. Use 1 tsp of Jeera powder.
  10. You need as needed of Curry Leaves.
  11. Provide 1 tsp of Red Chilli powder.
  12. Use as needed of Corriender leaves chopped.

Steps to make Sabut Masoor Daal:

  1. Pressure cook washed daals with ginger garlic paste, onion, tomato, green chillies and turmeric powder.
  2. Cook till daal is soft then grind it lil bit with a hand grinder.
  3. For tempering.. In hot oil or ghee add garlic minced let it turn light brown then add curry leaves, jeera powder and red chilli powder.. Add to the daal.
  4. Then add lots of chopped corriender leaves.. Let it cook for a lil while.. Ready !!.
