- Get 500 gr of fresh spinach.
- Provide 1/2 cup of lentil.
- Use 1 of onion.
- You need 2 cloves of garlic.
- Get of Salt, pepper, turmeric.
- Provide 1 table spoon of fresh lemon juice.
- Use 1 table spoon of olive oil.
- You need 2 spoons of Pomegranate paste (not very sour).
Steps to make Spinach and Lentil:
- After cleaning and washing the spinach, we chop it and put it aside. Then we put the lentils in the bowl of water to soak for a while..
- In the meantime, we grate the onion, add 1 spoon of olive oil to our pan and fry the onion with little bit of turmeric. When the onion gets the color of gold, we add our chopped garlic and fry them together for a while. Then we add the spinach and continue frying for a few minutes..
- Now it’s time to add the lentils, salt and pepper and fry. Here if you like Pomegranate paste, you can add two spoons and wait for a bit to make a nice color..
