The ingredients needed to make Ukwa:

  1. You need 2 of cooking spoon Palmoil.
  2. Get 3 cups of Ukwa.
  3. You need of Salt.
  4. You need 4 pieces of fresh red pepper.
  5. Use of Small sized dry fish.
  6. Provide Pinch of Potash.

Steps to make Ukwa:

  1. Rinse and pour the ukwa in a boiling pot,add pinch of potash allow to cook for 40minutes or untill well cooked..
  2. Sieve out the remaining water when the ukwa is well cooked.Pour in palmoil inbthe cooked ukwa,blended fresh red pepper,salt and mix together..
  3. Serve with well cleaned dry fish..
