- You need 300 g of Plain Flour.
- Take 200 g of Lard.
- You need 200 g of Sugar.
- Provide 6 of apples.
- Get Cup of whole milk.

- Mix the flour and Lard.
- As the dough is too dry.. add a splash of water and milk equally. Just enough so the dough is easier to kneed and is manageable.
- Grease the tin/dish and lay your rolled dough in. Leaving some and the trimmed excess for the top..
- Peel, quarter the apples. Add to pan of boiling water until a little softer or as desired..
- Drain the apples thoroughly..
- Add the sugar to the apples and mix and mash leaving some fruit form and not just pulp..
- Add the mixture to the dish..
- Add the dough to too and seal..
- Place into the oven at 200 C. And cook until a little golden. (25 mins).
- Allow to cool on trivit. Sprinkle some sugar. Serve..
