The ingredients needed to make Apple Tart Tatin:
- Prepare 4 of eating apples.
- You need 100 g of caster sugar.
- Take 100 g of butter.
- You need 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon.
- Take 1 of tube of ready rolled pastry (you can make your own).
Instructions to make Apple Tart Tatin:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6.
- Core and quarter the apples (you van peel as well but i left it on).
- Tip the butter, cinnamon and sugar into a frying pan, place over a high heat and wait until bubbling.
- Stir the sauce until it starts to seperate.
- Lay the apples in the pan and cook for 10 minutes, slowly sturing.
- At this point you can take the apples out of the pan and lay them back in nicely. However you don't have to do this.
- Drape the pastry over the sauce and apples, tuck the edges down the side of the pan and under the fruit.
- Pierce the pastry a few times then bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 5 until the pastry is golden.
- Leave the tart to stand for about 10 minutes and....
